Leading IT infrastructure distributor, Axiz, has launched the Acer Ferrari 19-inch liquid crystal display (LCD) monitor. Packaged with the latest design, supporting innovative crystalbrite technology, the Acer Ferrari 19-inch LCD monitor embraces colour saturation and increases the level of brightness for sharper, cleaner and clearer images.

The monitor has a competitive-edge over its rivals as it offers Acer`s crystalbrite technology coupled with a host of user-friendly features and an integrated media module that allows professional video editing, life-like gaming and digital entertainment. "Deriving from Ferrari`s seven-years-in-a-row Formula One championship wins, we believe this LCD monitor is another winner.
"Using exclusive materials, together with the most advanced video interface ports for today`s emerging digital world, the Acer Ferrari 19-inch LCD monitor has a highly advanced LCD display," indicates Mofokeng. LCD brightness is at 400cd/m^2, it has a maximum screen resolution of 1 280 x 1 024, a contrast ratio of 500:1 and a pixel pitch of 0.294mm.
Supporting integrated television turners, the Acer Ferrari 19-inch LCD monitor offers users a friendly on-screen display (OSD) user interface. This connects all work and home entertainment equipment with connectivity ports such as digital video interface (DVI), super video, SCART (a physical and electrical connection between two pieces of audio visual equipment), audio-visual (AV) composite, video graphics array standard (VGA) HD-15, TV phase alternation line (PAL) and SECAM (a form of television display technology). The monitor has an ultra fast response time of eight minutes per second to eliminate the risk of on-screen flickering and also supports the best in data and media versatility such as the creation of DVDs, viewing movies and desktop publishing.
The monitor weighs 7.1kg, has a glare type panel and includes two-watt stereo built-in speakers. The Acer Ferrari 19-inch LCD monitor is PC and MAC compatible, video electronics standards association (VESA) wall-mountable and is equipped standard with a Kensington lock slot. User controls include brightness, contrast, picture position, pixel clock frequency, colour select and adjust, five languages reset mode and a power on or off switch. It has dimensions of 458.5mm in height, 455.8mm in width and 190.6mm in depth and offers users and auto-tune function.
