Final pricing details for the long-awaited Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone in SA are now available, following the official launch of the device on Thursday.

While Vodacom, MTN and Cell C had the phone in-store as of this past weekend, Telkom Mobile is only set to start offering the phone this week.

As of Thursday, the Samsung Galaxy S4 will be available from Telkom Mobile on two of its plans - the SmartPlan 100 and the Unlimited Voice plan.

The SmartPlan 100 costs R449 per month and includes 100 minutes of talk time, 1GB of and 50 SMSes a day (after sending five on that day).

Telkom's Unlimited Voice plan costs R1 499 per month and enables customers to make unlimited calls to all of SA's mobile networks and fixed-lines, on and off-peak. It also includes 2GB of data.

MTN recently revealed the Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone will be available on its new MTN Anytime contracts - brought to the market less than two weeks ago.

The new Android phone is available on MTN Anytime 200 for R399 per month (over 24 months), including R200 airtime, 200 SMSes, a 200MB Internet bundle and 30 minutes of free MTN-to-MTN calls. The Anytime packages go up to the Anytime 1500 - R1 549 per month for R1 500 airtime, 1 500 SMSes, 1.5GB of and 360 minutes of on-net voice calls.

MTN's S4 deals are open to both new and existing MTN customers who are eligible for an upgrade.

Cell C confirmed its pricing details over a week ago. Customers can get the Galaxy S4 on the operator's Straight Up packages from between R399 and R899 per month.

SA's biggest mobile operator, Vodacom, released its S4 packages on Friday. Customers can get the phone on Vodacom's standard voice, data and text packages (S, M, L and XL) from R469 to R799 per month - up to R1 999 on the operator's "Red" packages that include unlimited options.
