Acer has introduced the TravelMate C110 as the first Centrino-based convertible tablet PC to debut on the world market. Building on the success of Acer`s first convertible tablet computer, the TravelMate C110 offers advanced wireless connectivity with Intel Centrino mobile technology.
TravelMate C110 is the first tablet PC to incorporate DDR memory, which enhances performance and allows up to 2GB in memory expansion. Other key features and improvements include an optional Acer EasyPort docking station, which makes it unnecessary to plug and unplug cables when connecting to other peripherals. It also boasts a wider viewing angle for the LCD screen.
It also has an automatically adjusting screen layout that shifts between landscape and portrait viewing modes for presentation purposes. The C110 comes with three versatile applications pre-installed.
"The Acer TravelMate C110, like its predecessor - the TravelMate C100 - it is designed with a 180 degree rotatable and folding back LCD display for convenient information viewing and sharing, and offers a choice of data input methods - by typing, writing or speech," says Gary DeMenezes, channel director.
