WMD has entered into commercial negotiations with South African ISPs to provide a digital movie download service (DMDS) consisting of a Basic Subscription VOD with a value added Premium Pay Per View (P-PPV) and Download to Keep (EST) digital delivery of content as a service to South African customers.
WMD will use top end Internet Service Providers in the Country to access the vast Multi Unit Developments; Golf Courses Residential Estates and all other Cluster Developments as well as Individuals in private residents'; offering digitally encoded and encrypted movies, television shows, music shows; mp3 songs; music video clips and documentaries for download and view and also to buy for keep; over ATSC digital broadcast networks. The premium P-PPV download will focus on “Just of the Screen; Theatrical Releases and Premium TV shows” to be downloaded for viewing and or to buy. The premium service will carry movies and television shows released concurrently with Local Market LVR and HSVD release dates
