FlowCentric gives sneak peak of V4R8, BPM and workflow product on 24 June 2010 at Microsoft, Bryanston

Johannesburg, 30 Jun 2010

FlowCentric is very excited about its new product offerings and believes the advantages these developments will bring to customers are exponential. So what are these exciting offerings, you may ask?

It's all about how you look at things...

Now processes built with FlowCentric can be viewed in a Web 2.0 Client, allowing for even greater visual customisation. And if that is not enough for you, FlowCentric presents the Execution API.

The FlowCentric Execution API offers a valuable customisation option to partners and customers alike.

“We are really excited about the Execution API and the value it is going to add to our customers,” says Bridgette Ward from Advancenet.

For those of you who are not that technically inclined, an Application Programming Interface (API) is an interface used by a software program to allow interaction with other software applications, much in the same way that a user interface assists interaction between humans and computers. The FlowCentric Execution API enables full custom solutions to be built. Process data can be displayed in virtually any technology that can access Web services.

FlowCentric didn't stop there. Guests had a sneak peak at a custom-built Silverlight interface and FlowCentric's Microsoft Office SharePoint Server webparts. FlowCentric processes can be accessed via the Internet, mobile devices, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server, Microsoft Office Outlook and many more Internet-enabled technologies, making your processes available every moment of the day. Stay in the loop. No more excuses for delays!

BI with a difference...

FlowCentric revealed its product's new BI tool, and this has generated a lot of enthusiasm. This tool enables better decision-making through improved visibility into a wide range of business challenges across industries, functions and systems. This enables companies to free up their programmers to innovate and create, rather than produce and design hundreds of reports.

“FlowCentric's BI tool takes reporting into a new era. If you thought cubes were great - this knocks blocks off anything you have seen before.” Caroline Hein (Parity)

Keeping up with the Jones'

FlowCentric keeps up-to-date with latest technologies so its customers can stay ahead of the game.

The FlowCentric product supports Microsoft Visio 2010. The product has earned the Microsoft “Compatible with Windows 7” logo and “Works with Windows Server 2008 R2” logo.

Release me

FlowCentric's partners and customers alike are enthusiastically awaiting the new product release. As John Olsson from Ability Solutions commented after the launch: “FlowCentric V4R8 once again allows us to deliver more bang for the buck and continues to protect our clients' investments to date.”

“V4R8, I believe, is the most significant release of late and is the first step to a new era in FlowCentric. This is thanks to the commitment and dedication of the FlowCentric team worldwide,” says Kevin Hudson, Director and founding partner of FlowCentric Technologies.

The public release of FlowCentric V4R8 will be made available in mid-July. If you would like a preview of the latest features, contact FlowCentric or a FlowCentric Partner for more information.
