FMRS adopts MessageVision

VillageEdocs, a solution-as-a-service company, which is the largest segment of the software-as-a-service (SaaS) market, has received a major order from the Florida Medical Record Service (FMRS) of Oldsmar, Florida to address its requirements, reports msnbc.

FMRS, an outsourcing company for the management and release of private health information for doctors and organisations, will use the combined document delivery and content management services offered through VillageEdocs' MessageVision communications and collaboration platform.

Using the MessageVision platform, FMRS is able to capture sensitive patient records electronically through physical scanning or via secure VillageFax electronic delivery.

Agility CMS updated

Edentity Web Systems has released the March version of the Agility content management system (CMS), says CMS critic.

Each month, a new release of Agility is made available to all users of the company's SaaS CMS. This release focused on new features.

Updates to the popular ASP.NET-based, hosted CMS include a new dashboard that gives users more information about what is happening with their site. Bookmarking has been added to all pages and content which shows up on the dashboard.

TownNews.com releases CMS

TownNews.com is releasing a CMS that has drag-and-drop movable blocks of content for Internet sites, states msnbc.

Blox CMS is being released for public viewing at the Newspaper Association of America's MediaXchange, taking place in Las Vegas this week.

Blox allows editors, Web masters or others designated by the newspaper to place programmable and movable blocks of content any place on a Web site.
