Foley Hoag teams up with eBillingHub
US dispute-resolution law firm Foley Hoag has partnered with electronic billing provider eBillingHub to employ the latter's e-billing solutions for both customer relations and in-house billing processes, states The Paypers.
eBillingHub is to provide Foley Hoag with a Web interfaced e-billing management platform which will improve the company's cash flow, enhance customer services and control operational costs.
eBillingHub plans to automate and standardise Foley Hoag' e-billing process, cut back on the difficulty of e-invoice submissions, purge the system of any bill submission errors and reduce the number of staff members dealing with electronic billing administration.
Drive to reclassify Web sites
Consumer Focus, a UK watchdog group, has called for a loophole used to aggressively market products at children to be closed, reports The Telegraph.
Advertising to children is strictly regulated in magazines and television, but not on the Internet where many companies have set up fan zones or gaming pages that heavily promote their products and brands on children's Web sites.
The watchdog organisation has asked the Advertising Association to consider reclassifying all children's Web sites as adverts, to stop companies using the Internet to encourage young people to pester their parents to buy junk food and toys.
Mitratech reveals green initiative
Mitratech, a software solutions provider, has unveiled its Go Green initiative, encouraging legal organisations to reduce unnecessary paper usage and waste by using its e-billing product, Collaborati Spend Management (CSM), says The International Business Times
CSM enables legal organisations to operate with greater environmental responsibility by eliminating roughly three-quarters of a ton in paper invoices for the typical legal department on an annual basis.
"Our Go Green programme helps legal departments move away from paper-intensive operations to better comply with corporate green policies and we are expanding CSM beyond e-billing to include rate, budget, and matter collaboration, which will help legal departments operate more effectively and responsibly," says Afshin Behnia, president and CEO of Mitratech.
