Bernie Carbello, former executive vice-president of Seagate's global sales, marketing, product line management and customer service operations, has joined the board of Smart Storage Technologies (SmartStor), a member of the MB Technologies group of companies.
Carbello sits on the boards of a number of globally recognised companies and this, coupled with his depth of IT industry knowledge and connections, makes him one of the most internationally prominent people to accept a position on the board of a South African company.
