Former US Secretary of State Madeleine K Albright to keynote caworld

Former US Secretary of State Madeleine K Albright will deliver a keynote address at caworld 2004, CA`s 10th annual worldwide user conference, on Monday, 24 May at 6pm in Las Vegas.

Dr Albright was the first female US secretary of state and is the highest-ranking woman in the history of the US government. She will present a portrait of her years as secretary of state, and offer views of foreign leaders she encountered in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. She also will discuss America`s role as a defender and advocate for freedom, and make recommendations for resolving the debate over globalisation and its effects.

At caworld 2004, attendees will have access to hundreds of expert-led sessions and hands-on labs, free education courses, technical "campgrounds", and solution-specific user group meetings. A state-of-the-art exhibition centre will showcase hundreds of exhibits and demonstrations from CA and strategic partners. More than 10 000 IT professionals are expected to attend the 23-27 May conference at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino.

CA Chairman and CEO Sanjay Kumar will deliver a keynote address on Sunday, 23 May at 6pm. Mark Barrenechea, senior vice-president of product development; Yogesh Gupta, chief technology officer; and Russell M Artzt, executive vice-president of eTrust security management, will deliver technology keynotes during the conference.
