Fortinet's FortiGate multi-threat appliance, the FortiWifi-60B, has been awarded SC Magazines 2008 Readers' Trust Award for "Best Integrated Security Solution" for the third consecutive year, the company states.

"Fortinet is honoured to be recognised once again by SC Magazine readers for our innovation in enterprise-class security solutions," says Anthony James, VP of products at Fortinet.

"We will continue to focus on providing truly integrated, high-performance security systems that enable enterprises, MSSPs and carriers to secure their networks with easy to deploy and cost-effective solutions that streamline management," he adds.

James states that the SC Magazine Awards highlight the best solutions, services and professionals, while recognising achievement and technical excellence in the information security industry.

"Even with the increased competition in 2008, the FortiWifi-60B has been selected by our readers as the best integrated security solution," says SC Magazine Editor Illena Armstrong.

"This award truly recognises the leadership and success of Fortinet in the field of IT security," she concludes.
