Forum to tackle governance
Corporate governance issues in the Gulf will be discussed at Ethics Gulf 2009: Ethics, Governance and Corporate Compliance Gulf Summit, states Gulf Daily News.
Ethics Gulf will be held from 27 to 29 April in Dubai. It seeks to examine the extent of fraud and corruption in the Gulf region with a focus on the development of internal governance structures.
The summit will discuss issues such as internal controls, bribery, corruption, compliance and business conduct as well as detecting and preventing fraud and managing investigations, government initiatives and improving transparency to boost partner opportunities with foreign companies.
CrimsonLogic develops ODS technology
CrimsonLogic has patented its Optical Document Security (ODS) technology for security and prevention of forging printable documents, says Business Standard.
The company is in early discussions with the Gujarat government given the latter's focus on enhancing its e-governance activities across the state.
CrimsonLogic aims at utilising its ODS technology, which prevents forging of documents, for issuance of documents under several e-governance projects in Gujarat including death certificates, birth certificates and property documents.
Mega rolls out GRC solution
