Foster-Melliar appoints new MD

Russell Steyn has been appointed Managing Director of Foster-Melliar with immediate effect. Foster-Melliar is a wholly owned subsidiary of Simeka Business Group and is regarded by many as one of the leaders in the field of service management in South Africa.

Outgoing MD, David Anderson, hands over the reins to Steyn and has taken up a Group Executive position at Simeka Business Group. "As part of our corporate succession planning programme, Russell has been appointed as Managing Director of Foster-Melliar based on his excellent credentials in the industry, as well as the authority that Russell commands as a certified ITIL expert. Russell has 15 years` experience in service management as both a trainer and consultant and is currently serving as a Director on the Board of the ITSMF South Africa," says Anderson, Group Executive Simeka Business Group.

"Russell is a visionary leader with a contagious passion for service excellence. He is well respected by many in the industry who have had the privilege of being trained by him, in addition to countless organisations that Russell has helped to implement, drive and improve their service management initiatives as a Principal Consultant," says Anderson.
