Foster-Melliar students have once again swept the board for awards at this year`s annual itSMFSA conference held on Thursday, 11 August 2005.
Four Foster-Melliar students were awarded top honours in IT service management training, making Foster-Melliar the top ITSM and ITIL training provider in Africa for nine consecutive years. In May 2004, all categories of the itSMFSA gala awards evening were scooped by Foster-Melliar IT service management students.
Star performer, Ruan Maritz, an enterprise strategy consultant at Microsoft SA, achieved the highest marks ever recorded by a Foster-Melliar student through the Information Systems Examination Board (ISEB), achieving a double distinction for the Manager`s Certificate in ITSM. Joint award winners for the Foundation Certificate in ITSM were Nelie Mostert of Accenture, Dirk Smit of Nebula Solutions and Sagaran Naidoo of Computer Associates.
