For a limited period, visitors to the SmartForce (Formerly CBT Systems) website will be able to take advantage of three free e-learning courses covering new Microsoft technologies and the recently launched business competency course.
The promotion, says Milton Goldschmidt, MD of SmartForce Africa, is designed to introduce the concept of e-learning to South African students.
"Companies world-wide are looking for a quicker, more effective way to teach employees what they need to know to gain a competitive advantage. SmartForce e-learning enables employees to learn the career skills they need to succeed in business today," he says.
"E-learning is a fundamentally faster and better way to learn," he says. "Offering free courses demonstrates our commitment to helping companies create a competitive advantage through a smarter workforce - a `smart force` that thrives in the Internet age."
According to Goldschmidt, the e-learning methodology will give companies a more effective way to empower employees at all levels within the organisation to deal with the burgeoning Internet economy.
