WiFi per month for a year with every new iPad 2 WiFi device purchased.
The offer will be available across the iPad 2 WiFi devices (16GB, 32GB and 64GB), and will be valid for purchases made at any iStore nationwide, or Digicape.
Once customers open a G-Connect account, they will be able to share the WiFi balance across all their WiFi-enabled devices from one account.
“We recognised that South African iPad users needed greater access to WiFi hotspots locally,” says executive director at Core Group Rutger-Jan van Spaandonk. “Our partnership with WirelessG has helped increase this access and will ease the burden of data costs.”
CEO of WirelessG Carel van der Merwe says: “With in-flight WiFi soon becoming available in SA, we envision seeing more and more mobile devices, such as iPads, utilised by travellers.
“With this joint venture, we are able to offer customers a package that will make this a more affordable reality.”
According to Van der Merwe, G-Connect WiFi customers will have access to over 1 800 WiFi hotspot locations across the country.
