FrontRange acquires Centennial

According to Techworld, IT governance software provider Centennial Software has this week been acquired by CRM provider FrontRange Solutions for an undisclosed sum.

Centennial Software is a UK company that is perhaps best known for its asset management and network security software.

Its brands include Centennial Discovery (auditing software), Centennial License Manager (software asset management and licence compliance) and Centennial DeviceWall (security software).

T-Mobile has signed an agreement with Software AG to help develop the mobile operator's IT governance tools and methodology, states Computer Weekly.

The project is part of T-Mobile's strategy to accelerate the introduction of new products and tariffs using service-oriented architecture and business process management tools from Software AG.

The IT governance co-operation agreement covers the UK, the Netherlands, Austria, Germany and the Czech Republic.
