Faculty Training Institute (FTI) has launched a Saturday version of its popular Diploma in Business Analysis course.
The Saturday programme, which will fast-track its normal six-month course into an intensive four-month experience, is primarily aimed at contractors and consultants who prefer to attend training outside of normal working hours.
The course will cover the same content as the normal Diploma and will maintain the same high assessment standards. Also, it will be convenient for delegates who find that attending daytime and evening sessions during the work week interferes adversely with their existing business responsibilities.
FTI also hopes to alleviate the pressure on its evening courses. In 2006, over 250 delegates, drawn from more than 50 companies, will graduate from the programme. Additionally, the January 2007 courses are already oversubscribed in both Gauteng and the Western Cape.
The syllabus of the FTI diploma course is well suited to the skills and needs of a professional, multi-skilled business analyst. The diploma, which was recently endorsed by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), has a close fit to the emerging Business Analysis Body of knowledge (BABOK).
The Saturday diploma is scheduled to start on 27 October 2006 and complete during March 2007, with a mid-course break over December.
FTI, the leading skills provider for business analysts in South Africa, has already trained more than 1 000 business analysts in its BA diploma course since 2001 across South Africa. In business since 1990, FTI has established a strong presence in the corporate training marketplace and is focusing strongly on developing world-class courseware for knowledge professionals.
FTI also offers diplomas for project managers, systems analysts and architects, in addition to its growing range of short courses.
Anyone wishing to enrol for the Saturday Diploma should visit http://www.fti.co.za, send an e-mail to BAJhb@fti.co.za or phone (086) 022 7 337 (National) or (011) 807 9478 (Johannesburg).
