Fuego, the leading provider of agile business process management (BPM) solutions, today announced that it has certified connectivity between FuegoBPM, its award-winning BPM software suite, and SAP AG`s NetWeaver and xApps composite applications for both .NET and J2EE platforms. At the request of key customers, Fuego has extended its "Integrated IntegrationSM" technology connectors to deliver certified pre-built components and configuration functionality that connect directly to SAP. With a growing list of customers that want to connect their business processes developed in FuegoBPM with SAP solutions, Fuego`s "Integrated Integration" now fully manages this connectivity as part of the core product.
"Fuego has numerous customers that rely on SAP products but want to tie it together with their disparate environments to automate end-to-end business processes," said Jon Lauck, president and CEO, Fuego. "Our product offers them a low-cost, high-performance, standards-based choice that seals the cracks between processes in SAP and their other applications quickly, and with immediate ROI."
"The two main reasons why a Service Oriented Architecture approach is important are to reduce cost and to improve the agility of integrating enterprise systems. The South African business environment is changing so rapidly that one can not afford to not move towards adopting this type of integration architecture as provided by Fuego with their certified SAP integration component", said Cobus Burgers, CEO, NetCB Solutions, master distributor in sub-saharan Africa.
FuegoBPM Suite is an advanced software platform that enables companies to easily and rapidly achieve the promised benefits of a service-oriented architecture (SOA) through agile process management. Fuego offers customers a technology agnostic approach that is effective at tying together the enterprise applications and legacy databases that is prevalent throughout today`s heterogeneous environments. Customers model their business processes, define key performance indicators (KPI`s), simulate them, connect those processes to people and systems, run them, manage process exceptions and measure, monitor and optimize their effectiveness, at a fraction of the time, effort and cost of proprietary infrastructure solutions from other companies.
Fuego announced a roadmap for certifying FuegoBPM`s connectivity with leading independent application and infrastructure software vendors in April 2005. The SAP certification builds upon Fuego`s commitment to its strategy to make enterprise-wide business process management for customers easier than ever before. Over the remainder of 2005 and beyond, Fuego will be certifying its software with numerous enterprise software solutions.
Interoperability between FuegoBPM, SAP NetWeaver and xApps is achieved by providing configuration panels that allow developers and administrators to easily define how Fuego connects to and ingests services from the SAP integrated platform solution. Fuego customers are already utilizing the capabilities of FuegoBPM in conjunction with SAP for enterprise processes such as invoice approvals & management, warranty management, order management, inventory management and replenishment and others.
"Fuego has been working with SAP products to deliver more effective business processes for our customers for years," said Rick Mattock, vice president of product strategy, Fuego. "We are now formalizing technology relationships with leading horizontal and vertical product companies by productizing these proven features. These features reduce implementation time by at least 30 - 40% when processes involve the SAP NetWeaver platform or xApps."
