Fujitsu drives cloud network

centres located in every major geographic region including Australia, Singapore, US, UK and Germany, reports CFO World.

Fujitsu says its cloud services model offers IT infrastructure, platforms and applications, allowing enterprises to match technology systems and costs directly to changing business needs.

CBR Online says Fujitsu's cloud self-service portal allows customers to adjust services, change capacity and usage, and manage billing, in a real-time pay-per-use model.

TechWorld reveals Fujitsu solutions and cloud services group executive director, Cameron McNaught says the offering combines scale of public platforms and the customisation of private networks.

“The ability to drag and drop storage and server configurations into your cloud environment, and in real-time, is where IT productivity has taken a dramatic leap forward,” says McNaught.

McNaught says in Reseller News: “Twelve months ago, cloud was niche. Because we're delivering on our ambitious cloud programme, we're seeing customers moving key, mainstream business applications to the cloud.”

Fujitsu's infrastructure-as-a-service offering has already signed up customers such as CA Technologies, consumer goods multinational Frucor and automotive manufacturer Toyota Australia.
