Fujitsu Siemens Computers, the leading European IT company, is introducing a new professional notebook product family.
With models targeting the entry and mid-range levels of the professional notebook sectors, the new Esprimo Mobile Series will be available as of August 2007.
The new professional notebook series launches with three models sporting top-quality configurations, which offer the convenience of supporting the same accessories, such as port replicator and a second battery. The Esprimo Mobile is a perfect supplement to the Lifebook Series.
The main features of the Esprimo Mobile U9200 are its 12.1-inch display and its lean and lightweight design (1.8kgs). The ultra-portable notebook is particularly suitable for business travellers who need to keep in touch at all times.
The Esprimo Mobile M9400 with its 14.1-inch display weighs only 2.1kgs and is also an ideal travelling companion. The Esprimo Mobile D9500 with its 15.4-inch display at 2.5kgs is an ideal desktop replacement. All models have integrated UMTS and widescreen displays. A second battery means Esprimo Mobile professional notebooks can run for a maximum of 10 hours without any external power - underlining Fujitsu Siemens Computers' efforts to reduce energy consumption.
According to IDC, Esprimo Mobile will enable Fujitsu Siemens Computers to reinforce its position in the professional notebook market and, in particular, in the mid-range segment, which represent a significant part of purchases, whether for desktop replacement or in the context of the renewal of their existing systems.*
