The Lifebook T-Series offers the user the benefit of a fully equipped notebook, with the added functionality of easy conversion to into tablet PC.
"In standard format the product is a fully featured, ultra light notebook with high-end modular bay system offering greater flexibility. The global vendor has ensured that connectivity, flexibility and battery life, key considerations for consumers and mobile enthusiasts, are covered.
"Products within this range are powered by Intel Centrino Duo Mobile technology that offers longer battery life, greater performance and seamless connectivity," adds Gibb. "Specific models also offer optional embedded UMTS and Wireless LAN."
From a security perspective Fujitsu Siemens Computers has incorporated biometric (fingerprint sensor) technology and model-specific built-in smart card reader for data protection in the event of the device being lost or stolen.
The Lifebook T4215 is a flagship model within the T-Series range. It offers the mobile worker connectivity through UMTS option, WLAN, IrDA and Bluetooth.
"This stylish, slim model offers power-saving Intel Core Duo support for uninterrupted hours of working and the benefit of a small and lightweight Port Replicator optional for easy connection to all peripherals," Gibb continues. "Flexibility of use is offered through pen functionality with Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005," Gibb continues.
