PartServe Channel Support today announced that it has been appointed byFujitsu Siemens Computers as a services provider for warranty repairs.
This agreement forms part of Fujitsu Siemens Computers' drive to recruitnew service partners throughout English-speaking Africa.
PartServe Channel Support director Lee Bowes says this agreement reaffirms PartServe's position as a major provider of warranty management services in southern Africa. "We are delighted to have this relationship in place with Fujitsu Siemens Computers."
According to Fujitsu Siemens Computers service manager Alan Milne, increased pressure and demand on the existing service infrastructure led to the requirement to appoint new service partners like PartServe Channel Support. "We were thorough in our selection of these service partners, as we need to ensure the integrity and reputation of our brand."
He says PartServe Channel Support was an obvious choice. "We need to ensure our customers are supported wherever our products are available. We identified the need to broaden our service footprint and to ensure our customers have a wider range of support options."
Under this agreement, PartServe will be able to offer warranty on all Fujitsu Siemens desktop computers, notebooks and entry- to mid-level servers. This service is available at each of the PartServe branches in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Bloemfontein and Port Elizabeth.
PartServe Channel Support is a South African company focused exclusively on the southern African IT services channel, offering computer and spare part distribution for a number of companies, centralised warranty services, remanufacturing services and outsourced repair capabilities.
