Fujitsu Siemens Computers is set to launch two new entry-level notebooks with the latest Intel Centrino Duo mobile technology on the market. Both the AMILO Pro V8120 and the LIFEBOOK C1410, which features an additional modular bay, are suited for standard office applications.
The AMILO Pro V8210 offers versatile support for professional users. Based on Intel Centrino Duo mobile technology and equipped with a 15.4-inch WXGA display, the entry-level notebook offers four USB ports, Bluetooth and wireless LAN, as well as a DVD burner.
The newly designed LIFEBOOK C1410 is available with either a 15-inch XGA or a 15.4-inch WXGA display. In addition to the standard connections, the new LIFEBOOK C series features a serial and a parallel interface and a modular bay, which can be used for an optical drive or a supplementary rechargeable battery that allows the battery lifetime to be boosted to up to 12 hours (depending on the model and the applications involved).
