Fujitsu Siemens Computers is launching its Pocket LOOX C550, a compact handheld aimed at upmarket business customers and consumers.
Packaged in a slim housing, its crystal-clear VGA display and illuminated keypad make the device ideal for outdoor use. Weighing only 160g, the Pocket LOOX C550 is also one of the lightest handhelds on the market. The successor to the Pocket LOOX 700 Series will become available as of mid-March.
Connectivity is key for handheld users. This is ensured by wireless LAN, IrDA and Bluetooth interfaces, while cutting-edge Intel processor technology guarantees high performance and a long battery life. With the Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 Premium Edition, all data is retained even if the battery is dead. The Pocket LOOX Software Suite from Fujitsu Siemens Computers, meanwhile, offers applications that further enhance performance and connectivity, such as Fujitsu Siemens Computers SpeedMenu and Fujitsu Siemens Computers CONNECTMOBILITY.
