Fujitsu Siemens LIFEBOOK T3010 from ANNEX gets rave review

Johannesburg, 10 Nov 2003

The Fujitsu SiemensLIFEBOOK T3010, is now available through ANNEX Distribution. Powered by Intel Centrino Mobile Technology with a 1.4GHz Processor, the LIFEBOOK T3010 is designed with hi-tech features to enhance voice and data transfer to improve the communication process for the digital worker.

In a recent online review by CNET (www.cnet.com), the LIFEBOOK T3010 was rated as the fastest in its class, and achieved the best overall rating against prominent competition. Two of the more outstanding features highlighted in the review are the battery capacity and voice and script recognition capability. Users have the choice to either dictate or write notes through to the LIFEBOOK with the 95% assurance that the device can accurately pick up and decipher the information.

Driven by the Mobile Intel Pentium 4 Processor-M, and offering up to a maximum of 2GB RAM, communication capability is reinforced by integrated WLAN (Intel PRO Wireless 2100), V.90 56K modem and 10/100 Base-T Ethernet LAN. From a connectivity point of view, the T3010 features two Type II PCMCIA slots, is smart card ready, and has a headphone, two USB ports and a microphone.

The hardware and software is also presented in a versatile but robust casing. This aspect, together with the speed and efficiency with voice command, data transfer and an impressive battery life, means real value for the mobile worker.

"As an official distribution partner of Fujitsu Siemens Computers, we have embarked on an aggressive campaign to get the LIFEBOOK T3010 into the market, as we believe it will make a significant impact in the mobile and wireless space," explains Bill Gradwell, General Manager at ANNEX.

The LIFEBOOK T3010 is assembled in Germany and distributed to world markets. The product is now available to order.
