Fujitsu`s strategic partner positioned in Gartner`s Magic Quadrant

Johannesburg, 16 Mar 2006

Fujitsu South Africa, the sole supplier of Information Builders products in the region, has announced that iWay Software is positioned in two of Gartner`s Magic Quadrant reports.

The first placement is for the Integration Backbone Software Quadrant. The second placement, in Gartner`s B2B Gateway Providers Quadrant, summarises the vendor`s vision and ability to execute in the B2B Gateway market. Gartner`s Magic Quadrant positions vendors in a particular market segment based on their vision and ability to execute that vision.

The Integration Backbone report addresses the middleware needs of a particular type of buyer, specifically architects, project leaders and IT managers who are automating business processes mostly using packaged and legacy applications rather than building all-new applications "from the ground up".

In order to be considered for placement on the B2B Gateway Quadrant, a vendor must meet the following criteria:

* The software must be sold and deployed as a standalone application (separate SKU) with trading partner management (TPM), security, management and adapters that allow users to consolidate and effectively manage all aspects of B2B interactions.
* Be deployed heterogeneously in conjunction with third-party applications, middleware and/or operating systems.
* Allow users the option of using two or more B2B protocols and security mechanisms to connect to multiple trading partners (eg, standalone AS2 solutions or custom adapters that only allow connections to one application or trading partner, were not considered in this evaluation).
