Gemalto expands partner programme

Gemalto, a European company in the arena, has expanded its Channel Partner to Asia to strengthen its presence in the region, reports Smartcard Alliance.

The Channel Partner Network is an ecosystem of carefully selected channel partners who are given access to key Gemalto expertise and intelligence.

This enables partners to broaden business opportunities through exchanging information and leveraging worldwide technical support from Gemalto for their local needs. The system has been successfully implemented in Europe, the US and Africa.

BlueArc channel revenue doubles

BlueArc, a high-performance network storage solution provider, says its channel partner programme has helped the company see a rapidly increasing share of revenue and new customer acquisition, according to The International Business Times.

BlueArc revenue from channel-driven sales in 2008 has more than doubled from a year ago, even as the storage solution provider continues to carefully select its partners.

The BlueArc Partner Acceleration Programme builds on the company's technology and collaborative approach to sales, bringing competitive advantage to channel partners and benefits for customers with data-intensive storage requirements.
