Keeping up with an increasing demand for the effective cooling of high-performance processors, Gigabyte Technology, together with South African distributor Rectron, has introduced the G-Power Cooler, designed for extreme thermal conditions.
The G-Power Cooler series comprises the G-Power Pro model for power users and the G-Power Silent for those that require a silent solution. The coolers are compatible with all mainstream PC platforms such as Intel and AMD.
The G-Power Coolers are designed to efficiently transfer heat away from the CPU. The base has a polished nickel electroplating around a solid copper foot while the quad heat pipes use sintered power wick technology that enables the cooling fluid inside to flow back to the heat source after condensation.
This means that the cooler can be mounted in virtually any position to accommodate a range of case designs.
Typical of all Gigabyte coolers, the G-Power models use large fans that generate strong air currents through the cooling fins even at low revolutions with near silent operation. Airflow from the fan effectively cools other components around the CPU, reducing the chance of capacitor failure for gamers and overclockers.
Adds Michael Hann, Gigabyte product manger at Rectron: "The G-Power Coolers also offer near-silent operations due to an innovative design that reduces air friction and turbulence through the fin tunnel.
"The coolers also include a fan speed control module that allows users to manually adjust airflow and noise."
