Gilbane releases research paper

Gilbane recently produced a research paper entitled "Information Workplace Platforms: Oracle vs SharePoint" which looks at which of these two ECM platforms is the best choice for an organisations information lifecycle, says CMS Wire.

The report findings are based on research on a number of companies who reviewed both platforms for their Information Management needs and what their final decisions was.

The report, authored by Tony White, lead analyst, web content management at the Gilbane Group, takes a look at the world of information workplace platforms and the pain points they address.

Skelta, Nokavision

Skelta Software, a provider of BPM and advanced workflow solutions has partnered with Nokavision Software as value added for the Dutch market, states Bobsguide.

Nokavision offers a complete portfolio and knowledge centre for document logistics, based on solutions for BPM, DMS and EDP, enabling organisations to optimise their document based processes and to gain maximum flexibility and efficiency.

DTDC deploys Newgen

Newgen Software Technologies, a provider of business process management and enterprise content management solutions, has successfully implemented its document management system solution at DTDC, an Indian courier and cargo company reports India PR Wire.

With the increasing burden to archive documents, DTDC realised the need to move to the of documents.

DTDC deployed Newgen's solution to provide online proof of delivery receipts and status of couriered items to its customers. Using the solution, the company is able to track the shipment status and obtain detailed information.
