GoldMine wins Windows Mag `Win 100`

Johannesburg, 22 Jun 1999

GoldMine 4.0, the sales force automation software from GoldMine Software, recently acquired by Ixchange, has won Windows Magazine`s "Win 100" Award in the Business Software Category, to be announced 22 July at PC Expo New York and published in Windows Magazine`s July issue.

Windows Magazine, with a circulation of 804 000, culls the elite 100 from a host of top candidates, considers each based on its innovation, ability to meet real business needs, cost-effectiveness, ease of use, and the vendor`s service and support. The review board then applies even more rigorous scrutiny to determine which of these 100 merited the top honours of hardware and software products of the year. Windows Magazine also selected the technology that its editors considered to be most influential.

"This award, one of many GoldMine has won recently, underscores just what a solid acquisition GoldMine was for Ixchange," says Ixchange chairman, Dana Buys. "We have no doubt that GoldMine will continue to win industry and customer support as it fulfils its broader role in the customer relationship management market.

Windows Magazine`s mission is to provide the information Windows business users and buyers need through a mix of product reports, features, reviews, news, analysis and opinion. Windows Magazine is available on the World Wide Web at http://www.winmag.com
