Good-bye NetActive, hello CCN

By Iain Scott, ITWeb group consulting editor
Johannesburg, 03 Apr 2003

NetActive is changing its name to CCN Holdings and is transferring its JSE listing this month to reflect its new nature as an outsourced customer contact centre services provider.

The group disposed of its service provider division to Tiscali World Online last year and subsequently acquired an outsourced contact centre services provider from Call Centre Nucleus Holdings.

Shareholders have passed a special resolution to approve NetActive`s name change and both and JSE approval have also been obtained.

The change will take effect on 17 April and the company`s JSE abbreviation will change from NET to CCN. The share will also be transferred from the information technology - software and computer services sector, to the cyclical services - support services sector of the JSE.

CCN specialises in the design, implementation and operation of complex multi-channel contact centres.

The company says it supports the customer relationship management strategies of many South African brands, mainly in the automotive, technology, telecoms, financial and consumer industry sectors.
