Graphic Image Technologies (GIT), a specialist in remote CCTV and control room technologies, video compression and transmission, has announced the release of 2TB (Terabyte) and 4TB storage options for the Meridian Network Video Recorder (NVR).
The Meridian NVR is a cost-effective, compact, plug-and-play video surveillance system, designed for easy operation in security installations with up to eight or 16 cameras. The system is preconfigured with video management software, which is based on DVTEL's award-winning, enterprise-grade Latitude Video Management System (VMS) and operates seamlessly with edge devices from DVTEL and other manufacturers.

Meridian responded to this requirement and as such, we are able to deliver higher capacity NVRs to the local market," says Laurence Smith, Executive at GIT.
The solution is ideal for large residences, small offices and home offices (SOHO) and small to medium enterprises (SMEs), and features a set-up wizard. Therefore, users don't need any technical knowledge to install - practically plug-n-play.
Key features, benefits of the solution includes:
* The powerful processor can handle multiple live and recorded streams;
* Small and compact hardware designed for space saving;
* Adaptive streaming displays more streams while consuming less bandwidth and computing resources on client workstations;
* Quick and easy set-up allows for in-and-out installations;
