Grupo Elektra implements Reflexis

Reflexis Systems has deployed its Execution Management solutions in all retail stores and branches of Grupo Elektra, states FOX Business.

Grupo Elektra is a Latin American financial services company and specialty retailer. Reflexis successfully implemented its solutions in each point of sale location of the company.

The implementation took place in approximately 1 000 retail stores, each one of which has an in-store bank branch office, and at the more than 900 independent branches of Banco Azteca, the main subsidiary of Grupo Elektra.

Southwest Airlines deploys GuestLogix

Southwest Airlines will deploy GuestLogix's Mobile Virtual Store on its flights and will eliminate the use of cash onboard, says Market Watch.

GuestLogix is a provider of onboard retail technology and solutions to the airline industry. The implementation, which is to be fully deployed by 9 September, is designed to enhance Southwest's profitability while providing new opportunities to improve travellers' comfort and convenience.

"Our goals are to enhance the overall customer experience, appeal to more travellers, and drive more revenue per flight," said Scott Halfmann, VP of Provisioning at Southwest Airlines.

Xterprise releases Clarity-ARS

Xterprise Incorporated, a global supplier of solutions for the high-definition enterprise and a Microsoft Gold Certified , has released a suite of solutions for retail applications, which introduce advanced inventory management and execution capabilities for the fashion apparel, specialty and hi-tech retail industry segments, reports Market Watch.

Store Inventory Management, the initial offering of Clarity-ARS (AdvancedRetail Solutions), leverages RFID and Microsoft technologies to enable storewide inventory management and integrated security at the individual garment or item level.

Clarity-ARS provides up-to-the-moment visibility and control of storewide inventory at the item and location level and automates many of manually intensive processes such as receiving and matching of merchandise, cycle counting, and restocking the sales floor from back-stock.
