These product offerings will be explained in detail below

CISSP bootcamp

G.T.S.P is happy to announce that it will be starting a CISSP bootcamp training course.

This course include an iPad 3 or iPad 2, many transcender exam questions, many Webcast sessions after the course for students to understand the domains better, and it will also include the online exam. This also includes the Shon Harris study guide.

The CISSP material will be supplied by IP3, and if you don't know, this material has a much better pass rate than the original material from IC2.

VMware Security

Many organisations are moving over to a virtual environment, and as you know, these environments can be very complex. The VMware Security course will focus on implementing security in your virtual environment.

Cyber VIP Protection

This is a very new and exciting service that G.T.S.P provides to its customers. This service will focus on protecting the data of the VIP. It is too often that VIPs are targeted and their data stolen by a competitor.

Part of this service is the protection of mobile devices. These include iPad, Android, BlackBerry, and many other mobile devices. This service will allow the customer to protect the information that is stored on these mobile devices, to the extent that the customer can remove their information (and only their information) from these devices (bring your own device).

This service will also advise the customer should a device go out of a certain area; the data can then automatically be removed when this event occurs. The Cyber VIP Protection Services needs to be based on sound principles and policies, leveraging some form of assessment strategy and technology to ensure proper alignment with company objectives.

To quote Dr Barbara Mandl, who is Senior Manager of Daimler AG: “It's not about the device; rather, it's about the data, the information.” Moreover, sound foundation knowledge about the threats that the mobile workforce could face needs to be evaluated as well.

With this service, customers can also patch their mobile devices remotely, and also perform a software audit on these devices from a remote location.

Cyber Olympics - "Do you think you can hack, well... prove it!"

The long wait is over, Cyber Olympics is ready and it has been divided into two categories. This will be launched on 1 June 2012.

The first category is for students between age-groups 13-18. These are typically high school students.

The second category is for students from 18+ years of age. There will be six rounds; the finalists will be flown to the US to partake in the World Championships. This will happen in Miami (29 October 2012). This will only be for the group of students 18+ years.

Secure Computer User Specialist

The purpose of the SCUS training program is to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to protect their information assets. This class will immerse students into an interactive environment where they will acquire fundamental understanding of various computer and network security threats, such as identity theft, credit card fraud, online banking phishing scams, virus and backdoors, e-mails hoaxes, sex offenders lurking online, loss of confidential information, hacking attacks and social engineering.

More importantly, the skills learnt from the class helps students take the necessary steps to mitigate their security exposure.
