Gigabyte Technology, together with official South African distributor Rectron, has released the GV-NX76T256D-RH graphics accelerator.
Based on the 90nm NVIDIA Geforce 7600GT GPU with Silent-Pipe II technology, the graphics accelerator employs natural convection currents created by case and power supply fans to draw cool air in over the GPU for fan-less cooling.
With high performance, quiet operation and efficient cooling, the GV-NX76T256D-RH also supports SLI technology, Micro DirectX 9.0C, Shader Model 3,0 and OpenGL 2.0 along with 128-bit bus and 256MB GDDRIII memory for high performance PC gaming and flawless digital media playback.
"During testing in the GIGABYTE labs Silent-Pipe II outperformed standard noisy fansink VGA coolers by allowing the GPU to run as much as 30% cooler during normal activity," comments Michael Hann, Gigabyte product manager at Rectron.
Additionally, the VGA card supports Pure Video display enhancement technology as well as eXtreme High definition technology that enable super video quality and improved HTPC visual affects.
The Gigabyte GV-NX76T256D-RH is bundled with Serious Sam 2.
