HandyMap has partnered with MapHost.co.za, a Web-based mapping application that provides tourism and business information. The partnership will allow HandyMap to provide comprehensive up-to-date maps and travel information to customers, the company says.

According to Maction Technologies regional manager, Kun-cheng Tu, MapHost.co.za has the most comprehensive online tourism and business information for GPS users. “Maphost.co.za's mapping technology is supplied by a global mapping provider with worldwide coverage, and this application has been tested and successfully implemented by many large companies within the tourism industry, including companies like Accorhotels.com and Shell Geostar.”

HandyMap says it is the first and only system in SA that offers free GPS map updates at least twice a year, and worldwide, it is the only company that provides free map updates twice a year for the product lifetime.

Easygo.co.za TravelBook is available on the HandyMap series and HandyMAP eXtreme, and can be used on all Windows Mobile devices with a touch-screen, including HTC, LG, Sony Ericsson and HP.

The HandyMAP Ai series is available from PDAShop.co.za at R999, which includes a free PC version of HandyMAP eXtreme.
