Health, safety courses go live
Advantage Prevention & Claims Management (PCM) has partnered with 360training to bring occupational health and safety compliance e-learning courses to employers in Canada, as well as courses to ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies.
Advantage PCM is a provider of health and safety on-line training and workers' compensation services. Today's audiences are seeking and demanding on-line safety and compliance courses including occupational health and safety training in all sectors of industry, construction, food services and driver safety training, it says.
This partnership between Advantage and 360training will help develop customised programmes that address today's safety compliance-related on-line training needs.
Bitrix includes e-learning module
The Bitrix Site Manager suite has a new e-learning module which helps users create training courses that can also be used to examine and certify specialists.
Users not only can take courses, but also verify their knowledge by passing self-check tests. The certification of specialists can be done by the number of scores obtained during examination. For each user, the system maintains a gradebook - a record containing the number of scores obtained.
The training courses can be exported and imported via the special standard formats: IMS Content Package and IMS QTI, reports e-consultancy.
Prudential, Epic partner
Prudential and Epic, both e-learning companies, have partnered to develop "world class training solutions," and Epic spokesman says.

"The work Epic is doing in researching and reporting global trends and by the quality of the content it is producing for innovative blue chip companies, is a differentiator. We were equally impressed by the energy and enthusiasm employed by Epic to constantly improve its offering in terms of technology and content. This is critical, as we need top quality learning content to assist our people in working for today and learning for tomorrow."
