In an effort to transfer IT skills, the Internet Service Providers` Association (ISPA) in partnership with Uniforum has initiated a teachers training programme whereby a number of teachers will be trained on basic internet skills in 2005. Last year the programme successfully trained 176 teachers.
According to ISPA, if each of its members sponsors just one teacher, an additional 60 teachers will have the opportunity to undergo the week long computer course this year.
As a member of ISPA, Hetzner actively supports the `train a teacher` programme and will be sponsoring funds to train one of the teachers.
