Hewlett-Packard`s 8550 Color LaserJet range of A3/A4 printers are the best buy for the busy professional who places a premium on high quality printed documents at an affordable price. That`s according to Traci Maynard, product manager for Hewlett-Packard peripherals at Tarsus Technologies, the distribution arm of JSE-listed MB Technologies.

Fully networkable, the addition of Hewlett-Packard`s JetDirect card makes connecting one of these printers to your network a snap, while Hewlett-Packard Web JetAdmin provides easy remote installation, configuration and management of the printer.
"Web JetAdmin allows the remote administration and management of a printer using a Web browser, making the printer administrator`s task a much easier one since they can manage the printer from any machine - not just the one with the management software installed," explains Maynard. Additionally, she says, Web JetAdmin gives you a summarised view of all your network printers. "Clearly the 8550 series offers all the functionality and quality that Hewlett-Packard is renowned for; these machines will be available from Tarsus Technologies in May this year," she concludes.
