High gain, all band, cellular omni-directional antenna

Johannesburg, 15 Sep 2005

Poynting is proud to announce a new omni-directional antenna developed for cellular applications.

Poynting Antennas recently developed a rugged vertically polarised omni-directional antenna as part of its range of cellular communication antennas.

This antenna covers the 824 - 960MHz and 1 750 - 2 170MHz band that covers various cellular bands including GSM, 3G, UMTS, CDMA, EDGE, TACS and DECT.

Being omni-directional, the antenna is ideal for the high site in point-to-multipoint applications. It comes with a rugged flange base for mounting on top of any flat surface.

The antenna has a gain of 8-10dBi (depending on the frequency) with a VSWR of less than 2.5 over the band. It is supplied with a SMA (m) connector as standard, but other options are available on request (please ask for a quotation).

It is ideal for use with least-cost routers, community telephones and mobile offices.

Please contact sales@poynting.co.za should you want a quotation for this or any of our products.
