Samsung Electronics has introduced the CLP 77OND, an environmentally-friendly and network-ready colour laser printer for medium to corporate-size workplaces that require high-volume printing.
According to Samsung, the CLP 77OND can print up to 33 pages per minute in either colour or black and white. Its integrated automatic duplex printing feature reduces paper, enabling businesses to cut costs and paper waste in half.
The CLP-770ND can connect to any network environment, states the company. For heavy network printing demands, the 800MHz CPU, 256MB of memory and PCL and PS3 emulation help alleviate the bottleneck effect, it adds.
In terms of security features, Samsung states that with user authentication and confidential information protection, an additional layer of security is added to help protect sensitive information in a shared workgroup environment. IT managers can remotely manage the performance of the printer and reduce time to maintain devices, adds the company.
The Samsung CLP-770ND is also conscious of the environment in which it operates. Compliant with the Energy Star 1.1 standard, the CLP-770ND will reduce power consumption automatically when not in use.
