Local HIV/Aids non-government organisation (NGO), mothers2mothers (m2m) has been awarded iPad 2 tablets in SysAid Technologies' global Sweepstakes competition.
service management software awarded six iPads to the m2m IT administrators for winning the raffle, and donated another six to the organisation.
Customers purchasing SysAid's latest software, SysAid IT 8.0, were eligible to enter the raffle. m2m, which operates across multiple countries in Africa, originally bought the software platform to collaborate and manage service requests between 700 sites in sub-Saharan Africa.
m2m helps in the prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV by educating and supporting pregnant women and new mothers living with HIV.
Paul Pienaar, m2m IT manager, says the NGO will use the iPads to effectively serve a greater number of women.
Saar Bitner, SysAid Technologies' VP of strategy, marketing and sales, explains: “The Sweepstakes raffle gave us an opportunity to help a valuable cause, and IT plays a great role in supporting m2m's services. Having SysAid on the iPads will help m2m work across multiple locations.”
Bitner says the Sweepstakes raffle aimed to show how SysAid IT 8.0 on iPads can make day-to-day IT administration easier and more effective.
