Hofmeyr installs dynamics

Hofmeyr, the largest law firm in Southern Africa, has replaced its current financial systems with Great Plains Dynamics. Logical, a national Great Plains value added reseller (VAR), has also developed an integrated solution to cater for professional consulting needs.

Dynamics C/S+ will meet Hofmeyr`s requirements of Y2K compliance, accounting uniformity and invoicing and disbursement control. A time billing and contact application, FutureLaw, was developed to provide information about the number of hours spent on each case for client invoicing. This information is automatically posted to Dynamics tables through Microsoft Transaction Server. Similarly, all disbursements posted directly in Dynamics are automatically reflected in FutureLaw`s front office and immediately available to the professional for billing purposes.
