Hotels provide free cameras

Rosewood Hotels and Resorts has teamed up with Fujifilm to provide guests with the use of cameras at several of the hotel`s locations.

According to Popular Photography Magazine, guests will be given the use of Fujifilm`s FinePix F30 or the FinePix V10, as well as the option to download the images to a disc that they can take home.

The Journal News lists the locations as Virgin Islands, the West Indies, British Columbia, Canada, Los Cabos, Mexico, and Sunny Isles Beach, Florida.

Canon expands printer range

Canon is expected to start making their own photo printers in addition to the models that they receive from an outside supplier.

According to Reuters the of these printers, known as Selphy, has begun in a Japanese based factory. The printer is aimed at photographers who want to print directly from their cameras.

The Selphy printers will be available to consumers later this year.

Explorers of the light resumes

Canon has reinstated its "Explorers of the light" programme.

According to the Consumer Electronics Net the company brings together professional photographers to present workshops, seminars and gallery showings to amateur photographers across the USA.
