Housing trust adds payroll service

Victory Housing Trust has appointed Frontier Software to provide a payroll outsourcing service, says Employee Benefits.

The payroll services contract will allow direct access to the trust's dedicated HR and payroll database giving immediate access to payroll information.

Reports, financial systems and banking interfaces are also available. The service includes payslips that are e-mailed or printed and couriered to a designated office.

Accero, an HR and payroll solutions provider, says independent Cyborg User Association (CUA) has officially changed its name to Accero User Association (AUA), writes RFP Connect.

This change signals the user organisation's confidence in Accero's products and strategy following the acquisition of the Cyborg assets from Hewitt Associates in 2008.

The association, independently founded over 30 years ago for Cyborg users, provides a forum in which users can exchange information, ideas and experiences regarding the company and its products.

Lawson Software says Life-Science Innovations (LSI) has selected Lawson for a multi-application deployment of Lawson Human Capital Management solutions, according to Market Watch.

The implementation will occur in two phases, with the first comprising Lawson Global Human Resources, and Human Resource Management, including core payroll functionality, and the second including Lawson Talent Management.

The contract was signed during Lawson's third quarter of fiscal year 2010.
