HP Software has introduced what it calls the first unified architecture to accelerate the reliable, secure delivery of applications and services, at its Software Universe event, held in Barcelona this week.
According to Jan Zadak, senior VP of Enterprise and MD of HP EMEA, ALM 11.0 is the industry's first unified application modernisation delivery system that is platform agnostic and scalable, allowing clients to reduce application defects by more than 80%, compared to the industry average.
The product automates workflow processes across multiple teams, which simplifies and facilitates application life cycle management, says Zadak.
“Organisations rely on applications to perform business-critical functions. Outdated tools, complex methodologies and ever progressing new technology make it difficult for IT to deliver effective applications,” adds Clive Brindley, solutions architect at HP Software and Solutions, SA.
“HP's new solutions enable clients to accelerate the delivery of applications, lower application costs and achieve business alignment without sacrificing quality.”
“The ALM 11.0 platform and software solutions announced today are components of HP Application Transformation solutions,” says Zadek.
“Through these solutions, HP transforms applications and processes designed for another era, and helps enterprises gain control over aging applications and inflexible processes that challenge innovation and agility, by governing their responsiveness and pace of change.”
