HP has unveiled new imaging and printing products, including nine digital cameras, two single-function Photosmart printers and an all-in-one Photosmart printer.
The HP Photosmart R937 8MP digital camera has a 3.6-inch auto-bright touch-screen display for editing and organising photos on the camera. The company says the touch-screen includes Microsoft Windows Vista-compatible tagging and a virtual keyboard.
Another 8MP camera release is the HP Photosmart R742, which comes in different colours. The Mz67 is a compact mid-range zoom digital camera.
The thin and lightweight, 5MP HP Photosmart E337 digital camera is expected to be available for purchase this month.
Printers
The company also released the HP Photosmart D7260 and D7460 printers.
Both printers have 3.5-inch touch-screens, a red-eye removal button, and HP Smart Web Printing that the company says ensures pages printed from Web sites print without cut-off edges. The D7460 uses wireless connectivity and both printers are Ethernet compatible.
HP has also released the HP Photosmart C5280, which the company refers to as the all-in-one printer. It has the ability to print onto CDs and DVDs, and also uses HP Smart Web Printing, automatic paper-type sensor and a red-eye removal button. The company says the printer uses new high-capacity inkjet cartridges.
