HP offers services to SAP customers

HP will provide services to support an enterprise service-oriented architecture blueprint from SAP, reports PR Domain.

This is aimed at helping customers achieve better integration and alignment of people, information and business processes across business and technology.

HP will also design and implement services to support key SAP NetWeaver components, including an SAP NetWeaver Portal program for workforce integration, an SAP NetWeaver Exchange Infrastructure (SAP NetWeaver XI) program for process integration, and an SAP NetWeaver (SAP NetWeaver ) program for information integration.

Webinar highlights BPM value

Business process management suite provider Appian and BPM Basics, an online centre designed to help IT and business users with BPM, will present a live, one-hour Webinar, according to Business Wire.

The seminar, entitled BPM 303: BPM & SOA, will be run on 1 February and John Lojek will start off with a discussion on the value of BPM and service-oriented architectures, explaining how they fit in today's business landscape.

Appian's director of product management, Phil Larson, will then explore how the two technologies can be used together to attain organisational agility.

BPM shows 100% return

Business process management and workflow solutions provider Ultimus says one of its customers has recovered its entire investment in under 18 months, according to Business Wire.

Prince William County, a longstanding Ultimus customer, has used the supplier's BPM Suite with adaptive discovery to create a reliable administrative department, and achieved cost and time savings, recouping its entire Ultimus investment in less than one-and-a-half years.

Prince William County in Virginia provides public works, fire and police response, and social services to its population of about 321 000 citizens. Prior to deploying Ultimus, the county's paper-based approval and routing processes was rife with mistakes.
