Hewlett-Packard`s PhotoSmart P1100 printer bagged the runners-up award for best printer in the Technical Innovation Awards of the United Kingdom edition of PC Magazine. "This machine has a number of unique features that sinlgled it out as a winner to the judges of the competition," declares Traci Maynard, product manager for Hewlett-Packard at Tarsus Technologies. According to her, the qualities that set the PhotoSmart P1100 apart from the competition include its best print quality and its ability to print and save images directly from a wide range of digital cameras.
