HP and TIBCO Software has announced that the HP-UX 11i operating system has been named as one of the preferred Unix platforms for TIBCO`s global customers.
The expanded relationship significantly extends the market reach of HP Integrity servers running HP-UX 11i. It will also help enterprises optimise IT operations for business process management (BPM) and service-oriented architecture (SOA) deployments.

Initial efforts to port TIBCO Staffware Process Suite and the upcoming "Project Matrix" SOA offering are currently under way, while TIBCO Businessworks, TIBCO Rendezvous, and a number of TIBCO Adapters already support HP Integrity servers running HP-UX 11i.
